I really do not understand the drive to publish videos and pictures of movies in production - along with any tidbit of plot or script or casting information. Don't you want to have any sense of surprise and delight when a movie comes out? Is it just about the bragging rights? Being able to say "I got video of Harrison Ford and the Indiana Jones set, and put it online for the world to see!"? Is there a sense of power that comes with that?

It's really too bad, because ultimately it deteriorates the movie experience, and I'll bet that you are doing this because you are a huge fan, and don't really want the experience to be ruined.... do you??

Signed,
Also a fan
Full disclosure: I work in the business.
